If you've ever used the lobby bathrooms at the Georgian Court Hotel in Vancouver and thought to yourself, 'That was an experience I'd like to have again,' then it probably won't come as too much of a surprise that the hotel is up for an award in Cintas' annual "Canada's Best Restroom" contest. Yes, you may well have relieved yourself in an award-winning bathroom!

But don't congratulate yourself just yet. The winner still has to be picked—though we're certainly rooting for Vancouver, as it's the only hotel represented in the lineup of five finalists. Among the other contenders are: a fancy restaurant in Toronto, a graffiti-proof public toilet in Victoria, and a vocational school near Montreal.

May the best can win!

In case you were wondering just what makes the Georgian Court loos so special:

"The lobby washrooms inside the Georgian Court Hotel were designed in 2009 by award winning Canadian designer Louis de Araujo of LDA Design. Araujo’s design incorporates delectable materials like plush velvet seating with delicate chandeliers and pendent lights to give the space an airy feel.

The space features personal hand cloths and the ladies washroom is complete with hair spray, body lotion, and mouthwash for a final feminine touch."

Ooh la la. We feel refreshed just reading about it.

What are you waiting for? Go cast your vote!
