Make It A Labor (Day Weekend) Of Love With Cee Lo Green And The Eagles In Atlantic City
While hotels in Atlantic City usually tend to hover around a reasonable $110 or $130 a night, rates have shot through the roof for the upcoming holiday weekend. In the days leading up to Labor Day, AC properties are asking for up to $500-$600 a night, and many of them are already sold out.
Including Revel, which has two special guests headlining at the resort this weekend: Cee Lo Green and The Eagles. Each of them will be putting on concerts—Cee Lo at The Social on Friday and Saturday nights, and The Eagels at Ovation Hall on Saturday and Sunday nights—to amp up the Labor Day festivities, which include fireworks on the beach, casino giveaways, BBQ parties, a White Party, and burlesque at the Royal Jelly nightclub.
But for those who just want the concert tickets without having to worry about secretly crashing in Revel's lobby, here are a few other hotels that still have availability.
Showboat actually made our list of HotelChatter's Favorite Hotel Beds (though it was more about the balcony than the bed itself, but it's all connected) last year. And as luck would have it, the boardwalk-facing hotel has availability all weekend, with rates starting at $229 on Friday and going up to $459 on Saturday.
Meanwhile, we also found space at Golden Nugget, which recently finished up a $150 million renovation and a new website to boot. Friday and Saturday night rates are holding steady at $299 and $499 respectively.
And lastly, if you happen to just make it to AC for Sunday, The Borgata has rooms that night for $359, so you'd at least be able to catch the Eagles in action. Not to mention take a few laps around the hotel's stunning rooftop pool. If it could get us up at 6am on a weekend, we're sure you'll think it's worth checking out too!
