Pedal Into Fall With Affinia Hotels' Free Bike Program

Manhattan’s Citi Bike Share program has been delayed again until next spring, but fear not, there's still a way to get a hold of a pair of wheels to explore the city. Guests of either the Affinia Dumont and Affinia Shelburne can take advantage of the hotels’ free bicycle program.

The blue bikes with canary-yellow tires are custom-made bicycles courtesy of Republic Bike . When you sign up for a spin, you’ll get a helmet, lock, basket, map of popular bike routes and must-see landmarks around a 23.7 square-mile radius, as well as a list of available bike parking around the city.

Guests can borrow the bikes each day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and must be returned each day. We’re sure these will be scooped up quickly especially for beautiful fall bike rides, so book them in advance via E-Concierge, Affinia’s online concierge program, or if you’re not the planning sort, take your chances and wait until you check in at the hotel’s front desk.

Rates for the Affinia Shelburne and Dumont are available at $261 and $289 per night, respectively.
