We All Stay At The Yellow Submarine Hotel, The Yellow Submarine Hotel

We've been so busy keeping up with Olympics-related London hotels that we've sadly neglected to keep up with our other favorite British pastime: Beatles hotels!

And this one's a goodie. Described by the Daily Mail as an "eccentric businessman," UK-based Alfie Bubbles has purchased an old narrowboat and transformed it into a psychedelic, fully-functional 3-bedroom hotel that's inspired by, and remains faithful to, the Beatles' original yellow submarine.

The floating hotel, which includes a 3D TV, Beatles memorabilia, and an original motorcycle from the 1970s film Quadrophenia, is located in Liverpool's Albert Dock. The owner describes the location as "the best in the city for all nightlife and shopping," though we're pretty sure a night in the yellow submarine hotel would probably be entertaining enough.

Bubbles actually bought the boat from Paramount Pictures, where it was used for the filming of The Hunt For Red October. Not sure what the vessel's been up to since then (most likely, just sitting idle in a props warehouse somewhere), but it's certainly got a sleek new look to it—the interiors now feature tufted black leather couches and a fancy-schmance 6-seat dining room.

With rates from £149-£350, a night here might cost you a tad more than some of the city's other Beatles-inspired lodgings, but for bragging rights, you might just have to bite the bullet.
