The teen concierges are a part of the newly formed Omni Teen Advisory Board and are well-traveled enough to know what teens on vacation need. The program was inspired by the teen concierge in place at the Omni Berkshire Place in New York. That would be David Strebel, 18, who is the son of the hotel's general manager and has lived at the hotel for three years (You can catch him in action here.)
So far, there are Teen Concierges in place at Omni Chicago Hotel, Omni Shoreham Hotel, Omni Parker House, Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort and Omni Hilton Head Oceanside Resort. Best of all? They can totally be reached by text, Facebook, Twitter or IM.
While your oldest child makes friends with the Teen Concierge at Omni, your younger kids can still be enrolled in Camp Omni, the Omni Hotels kids program. This summer, Camp Omni is offering its own package at 15 percent off a two-night stay, complimentary breakfast for kids 12 and under, an advance call from "Camp Counselors" to customize vacation activities as well as camp-themed treats like smores-flavored marshmallows, a collapsible water bottle, a lanyard kit and the Omni Kids knapsack which will throw in a $10 gift card for kids to use in the hotel's gift shops or restaurants.
To book a Camp Omni getaway, go here. Meanwhile, check out what some other hotels have been doing for their teen guests right here.
