Park Hyatt is Planning a Caribbean Escape in St. Kitts

In the past few months, Park Hyatt Hotels have unveiled plans for new hotels in Bangkok and South Korea but now the luxe Hyatt brand is coming a little closer to us--St. Kitts.

The relatively small island hotel will have just 200 guestrooms and 50 residential condos along with three restaurants and bars, a fitness center, a 12-treatment room spa, an 18-hole championship golf course, a beach club, and a 300-acre super yacht marina and marina village.

The Park Hyatt St. Kitts will actually open inside a master planned community called The Christophe Harbour development project in Banana Bay where "white sand beaches and crystal clear water" are the main draws of the area. The hotel will also be less than 15 miles from the Robert L Bradshaw International Airport, the Port Zante cruise terminal and Basseterre, the capital of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Still, we've got to wait a while for this Park Hyatt in paradise. It's not expected to open until sometime in 2015.
