Hard Rock Hotels is on a worldwide expansion binge and if you're a fan of the rocking hotel brand, here's where you will find them next.

1. Hard Rock Hotel Panama Megapolis: The 66-floor hotel opened its first phase in April but that already includes 500 hotel rooms. All in all, 1,600 rooms are expected to open. Rates start at around $200 a night.

2. Hard Rock Hotel Cancun: The website is up for the Hard Rock Cancun and now an August 1 opening date has been set. Formerly a Palace resort, this 601-room hotel will become the second all-inclusive resort for the Hard Rock brand. And yes, this will be the party spot for Spring Break 2013 judging from the website copy: "We have everything you need to fulfill your rock n’ roll dreams including acclaimed restaurants, bars and lounges, expansive poolscape and a spa with outdoor massage areas... and that’s just the opening act."

3. Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta: Like Cancun, the Hard Rock Vallarta is a former Palace resort which will officially open as the Hard Rock on August 1. Rooms will have jacuzzis, there will be a Rock Spa on-site and it will remain the only all-inclusive resort on the Pacific coast.

4. Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Opening in 2013, the former Aventura Spa Palace and Aventura Cove Palace will be rebranded as a Hard Rock yet still maintain its family-friendly vibe.

5. Hard Rock Hotel Hungary: The first Hard Rock Cafe opened in Budapest last December and now a Hard Rock Hotel is expected to open in 2013 in something called the Euro Vegas Complex.

6. Hard Rock Hotel Abu Dhabi: Even though this Hard Rock was just announced in June, it's expected to open in 2013 with 378-rooms on the UAE capital's Corniche. It will include all the Hard Rock accoutrements such as restaurants, entertainment and a Hard Rock Cafe. It will also feature a sky lobby, a lobby bar with an outdoor entertainment deck and hookah lounge and a 37th floor sky bar with swimming pool.

7. Hard Rock Hotel Northfield, Ohio: Plans for a Hard Rock complex near the Northfield Park Racetrack in Ohio were announced in April. We can't really tell if that includes a hotel but it's listed under the Hard Rock Hotels site as "coming soon!"

8. Hard Rock Hotel Aruba: A 310-room beachfront Hard Rock Hotel & Casino was announced in May. Plans are still being finalized so this one may be a few more years off.

· Honorable Mention: The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has completed a $75 million expansion making it the largest casino in the U.S. and the sixth-largest in the world.

· Not Happening: Hard Rock Leicester Square
