We love Cabo San Lucas and apparently so does the White House, as President Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton chose the posh 57-casita and suite Esperanza Resort as the official host for the entire U.S. delegation during the G-20 Mexico Summit on June 18-19th.

Our question is, did the Prez have to stay all official-like the whole time, or did he manage to sneak away for a quick dip in the pool?

Doubtful. The U.S. delegation crew traveled via a multi-Escalade-deep motorcade through Esperanza’s gate accessible only after traveling the endless and hidden mile-long driveway. Then they assembled for a briefing before meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin--the details of which we unfortunately didn't get, because we're more dazzled by seeing Cat Daddy Obama strolling through Baja Sur.

No word if the resort’s tasty margaritas and cigars from El Bar were served to make talks go smoothly, but we’re certain no one left without sampling the fresh, lime-drenched sea bass ceviche from La Cocina del Mar restaurant.

Given our President’s beachy background, after business, we hope he made a beeline to one (or both!) of Esperanza’s two beaches fronting the Sea of Cortez.

Though our pics were given to us special, security is super tight with beach patrol always fighting to keep papps at bay from snapping the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston, who’ve also called this down-to-earth resort their after-Hollywood-haven.

Rates at Esperanza begin at $495 per night.
