2. Marti Istanbul Hotel, Istanbul: A glamorous new hotel will open on July 15 in the city's energetic Taksim neighborhood, spanning 11 stories with 270 guest rooms designed in a modern Ottoman style. In-room amenities include 42-inch flat screen TVs, iPod docking stations, rainforest showers in the bath and complimentary internet. Suite guests can also soak in hammam-style baths surrounded by textured mosaics.

3. ME By Melia, London: Just in time for the Olympics, this sassy and hip hotel brand will now open on July 24 with fun in-room amenities like rain showers, music speakers, free WiFi, pillow menus and mood lighting.

4. Hotel BPM, Brooklyn, NY: The newest hotel to open in the hip outer borough will not be churning out its Beats Per Minute until August 1 but when the music turns on, guests will be able to make one song request which will play at some point throughout the hotel during your stay.

5. Four Seasons Pudong, Shanghai: The newest Four Seasons in Shanghai won't open until September 1 but by the seasonal calendar that's still technically Summer. That should give us some time to save up for one of the 1920s Art Deco-inspired guestrooms and a visit to the health club, spa, and infinity pool.
