Since we imbibed with a few flutes of bubbles during the early races, a bespoke beverage in the super swanky lobby, Cocktail Bar, was in order. The menu was divided into flavors of drinks and we settled on the page entitled Zesty, Tangy and Daring. Naturally.
We picked the Spiced Apple Caipirinha starring handmade spiced sugar syrup, while our companion opted for the Mezcal Mule accented with passionfruit and topped with house-made ginger beer. After a few minutes of the barkeep feverishly muddling, shaking and blending, the drinks were ready to be presented. At a place like this, presentation is just as important as taste and the mixologist nailed both.
The hotel itself has a funky, yet contemporary design and attracts a trendy crowd that enjoys watching people as much as they enjoy being watched.
