The menu, which is designed to look like a vintage Lite-Brite board, offers a wide range of treats, from house-made tortilla chips with guacamole ($12) to goat tacos with orange habanero salsa and goat crema ($15). Tortas ($11-$15), tamales ($8), rice and beans ($4), and esquites ($7) are also available at the truck, which is open daily from 11am to 2am.
Distrito Cantina is actually an import from Philly, where Chef Jose Garces' popular Guapos Taco Truck has been hitting the streets since early 2011.
The best part about Revel's truck, though? It's indoors, so they can serve booze! Follow up your Mexican feast with a margarita or two at the neighboring Margarita Bar. Sure enough, the Revel casino is only a few steps away, so this could be seen as good news or bad news, but judging from our past experiences with casino food options, we're going to go ahead and say this is a blessing.
