Recently at the Four Points by Sheraton at LAX, the hotel has hired a new DBR--Director of Brewer Relations--to oversee their BestBrews beer program and their upcoming Beer Advisory Board*. Justin Blake, the new DBR, will share his extensive brew knowledge with guests through beer discussions and tastings which are held at the hotel's Brewster's Bar and Grill (pictured above) from 4pm to 2am.
The program features over 100 local, regional and imported beers in bottles or on tap. Six of the poolside taps are actually all from local breweries in Torrance, Rancho Santa Margarita and Tustin, Calif.
Not a bad way to kill an unexpected overnight stay near the airport and hopefully, Four Points will be a little more generous with their pours than Sheraton.
