· The Nines Not only is The Nines a personal favorite of HotelChatter and a member of Starwood Hotels, it's also LEED Silver and it has a roof deck that overlooks the neighboring Pioneer Square, where people converge to hang out, play music, passionately spout their ideals or just enjoy the Pacific Northwest weather. Having access to the roofdeck means not having to chill amongst the unwashed masses, but still kinda be able to. You get it. Plus they got in-room plug panels like crazy. See our photo gallery proving it here. Oh yeah, and they make their own whiskey. Rates from $190 per night.
· McMenamin's Kennedy School. Good luck getting a room here, as they seem forever booked up. They're just too cool to have availability, we guess. The Kennedy School is a real former schoolhouse, so your room may come complete with a blackboard and other "hot for teacher" kinkiness, though the aesthetic is more proper than perverted. It also helps that McMenamin's is a local company, and definitely the most likely to "Put a Bird on It." Check out some of the place here. Rates: from $115 per night.
