Only at The Omni Dallas Can You Get a Pimped Out Bicycle As Seen on 'Shark Tank'

Where there's a reality show, there's bound to be a hotel connection. And that's just what we found while catching up on some old episodes of "Shark Tank" this past weekend.
Villy Customs is a high-fashion bicycle designer that lets you customize your ride from the seat to the wheels right down to the bell that you put on the handles.
While Villy Customs is mainly an online business (and a pricey one too with full bikes costing about $500+) we did some research and saw that they have a partnership with Omni Hotels. As it turns out, you can buy a piece of Villy at the Omni Dallas at the hotel's expansive Collections store.
This hotel gift shop puts all other gift shops to shame with products from well-known Dallas retailers ranging from scented candles by fragrance designer Niven Morgan; vintage-style jewelry from local designer Andrea Barnett; J-Dig greeting cards and Texas chocolates and everyday sweets from Oak Lawn Dallas-Based Chocolate Secrets. But there's even more.
Like 6,500 individual pieces of art from Dallas-area artists which can be purchased in the store directly from the artist through an interactive art station. Since there's so much to see here, it also makes sense that Omni's signature coffee bar is located within Collections as well.
Now about those Villy Custom bikes....
Up until last month, founder Fleetwood Hicks (yes, that's his name) would direct locals to check out his bikes in person at the Omni Hotel. But while he's also put some bikes on display at Forty Five Ten in Dallas, only when you buy a Villy Custom at the Collections store do you get a special promo code for a complimentary lock and bell. Awesome. If you haven't seen a Villy Custom Bike, you can check 'em out here and learn why Shark Tank's Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran now owns a 42 percent stake in the company.
Meanwhile, we hear the Omni Dallas is hoping to hold a "Cruiser Bike Day" at the hotel soon with Villy Custom bringing in about 15-20 custom edition bikes and four "test" bikes for customers and hotel guests to take out for a 15-minute ride.
Having cool bikes available for guests will only further up the stylishly eco vibe the Omni Dallas has put forth. The hotel just achieved LEED Gold status, making it the only LEED Gold hotel in Texas and the largest such hotel in the U.S., outside of Las Vegas. Soo cool. Now we just need to decide how we want Villy to pimp our ride.
Wanna check out the Omni Dallas for yourself? The hotel still has rates open for Memorial Weekend for just $105 a night if you stay three nights as part of Omni Hotels' special 10/20/30 Memorial Day Weekend sale.
