Not all of your Easter plans have to involve chasing down sugar-crazed tykes, who are in turn chasing down the Easter Bunny, who is in turn looking for the nearest dive bar. You could instead pack for an overnighter and take a much-deserved getaway to one of the first class rooms on the seventh floor of Radisson Bloomsbury in London.

While technically all of the rooms in all Radisson Blu Edwardian London hotels this month are offering a free chocolate Easter egg, free full English breakfast and free room upgrade for an Easter package starting at £135/night, only room 7007 in the Radisson Bloomsbury contains what might be London's coolest piece of hotel furniture: the hanging egg chair.

Good for book reading, meditating, or perhaps a little anti-gravity napping, the chair is the perfect way to "celebrate" Easter without ever really having to lift a finger.

As we discovered last month, the 11 rooms on the seventh floor of Radisson Bloomsbury are all a step above the other rooms in the hotel, with features like espresso machines, bathroom gift sets, free movies, free minibar drinks and free WiFi. Not that we really condone free WiFi being counted as a first class-type thing, but whatever.

And should you need a little inspiration as to which book to bring into the egg with you, try this compendium of WWII-era tales from London's West End—nothing like a few "wartime secrets from London's grand hotels" to round out a lazy Easter Sunday!
