The other day we mentioned that the new Revere Hotel Boston Common would be opening with a special "revolutionary rate" of $177.50 of Paul Revere's famous ride on April 18, 1775. But things got a whole lot crazier than that. Like "Mission Impossible" crazy.
Runway "models" from Boston Rock Gym walked down the exterior of the building on a vertical catwalk, showing off the hotel's uniforms which were designed by students at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design
The uniforms are worn, on the ground, by the property's doormen, valet, front desk staff and cocktail servers. The runway show also featured some looks from UK designer label Ted Baker London, perhaps as a gesture to show that everything's copacetic now between the British and us.
The $177.50 rate is good through May 31 but reservations must be made by calling the hotel directly, referencing promo code REV775.
