The NoMad Hotel Is Spreading The Good(fellas) Vibes

Call us old-fashioned, but when it comes to movie set hotels, we're used to film crews who show up and incorporate the hotel into scenes for their movie. But in Manhattan, it's the NoMad Hotel who's decided to incorporate scenes from a movie into their hotel.
How does that work? Well, the hotel has released a three-minute promotional clip, which shows executive chef Daniel Humm and General Manager from Eleven Madison Park recreating a famous scene—almost shot for shot—from Goodfellas, where Ray Liotta leads Lorraine Bracco through the back kitchen and into the dining room of the Copacabana. Just like in the movie, the entire shot is unbroken and quite fun to watch.

In true Goodfellas style, Humm makes his way through a sea of chefs and waiters, shaking hands and even stopping to taste something simmering on the stove, before entering the hotel's four main dining rooms to greet seemingly happy customers. Included is the romantic library cocktail lounge, which we photographed last week, and where the final scene from the clip takes place.
Does this restaurant look like a place you'd eat? Got another hotel-related movie scene to share with us? Drop your suggestions in the comments below!
