All in all, the entire fitness center spans three floors and 14, 212 square meters of space. That's a lot of exercising to do! Just walking around the entire joint would probably satisfy your cardio requirements for the day.
The Korea Times spoke to Richard Saul, General Manager at the JW Marriott Seoul, who explained:
"The hotel opened in 2000 and they had this vision: the fitness club will be one of the signatures of this hotel. So they allocated that much space."
Furthermore, he said that in addition to foreigners visiting the city, locals also love making use of the facility:
"Everybody talks about our health club. It’s tremendous to guests and also great for local members who live around here. On weekends a lot of families come. Most weekends we are close to full, they come and treat themselves. The location works, they can go to the cinema, they can go shopping, go down to the swimming pool, there’s a lot to do."
