The Standard Hotel is The Hot New Place for Hot Messes
The girl in the box is actually NOT a hot mess.
The Standard Hotel on Sunset in West Hollywood has long been a famous spot for pretty much everything else aside from its hotel rooms thanks to its chicquarium, adult Sunday brunches and rotating art installations. And now this month, it's the hotel's secret club, Smoke and Mirrors, that's making the news.
For starters actress Amanda Bynes has been banned from the hotel after she was last spotted leaving the club drunk, just moments before she swiped a cop car and was arrested for drunk driving.
And today we learn that our old favorite hot mess, Lindsay Lohan has been accused of attacking a woman at the club for talking to a male friend of Lohan's. Lindsanity is denying the allegations, saying she was home all night but now a hotel employee is telling cops that he saw Lohan there. TMZ reports:
The guy says the woman was escorted out of the club, where she cried hysterically and then said Lindsay hurt her, but she refused medical attention.
There are no pictures that have surfaced of Lindsay at the Standard Thursday night, but the man says there is a surveillance video showing the back of the hotel, where Lindsay pulled in and later left. We have confirmed the man has spoken with cops, although we do not know how much detail he divulged.
Meanwhile, if you're looking to party where the hot messes are, you might have a tough time. Smoke and Mirrors is a secret pop-up lounge inside the hotel that's not promoted anywhere on the website. And staying true to the club's name, no one working at the hotel will even tell you how to get in. Guess that means that hotel guests don't have any priority access then!
