Rezzies Now Open at SLS South Beach, From $325 a Night

Hmm, perhaps May 8 is not the official opening day for The SLS Hotel at South Beach, after all.

Reservations are now open at the hotel's website and the first date you can book is June 14.

Perhaps there'll be a soft opening before that -- or maybe it will even open earlier than what the system is currently showing (as we hear may happen with NYC's NoMad Hotel.)

As for those other numbers we're so curious about--the rates--they start at $325 a night for a Superior City View King or Double Double. That's for a 252-square-foot room with views to the west rather than over the water.

On the other end, you have Bungalow Suites located near the pool, which will have soaking tubs, 47" HDTVs and iPads.

These are the Best Available rates but there is also an American Express Stay More deal, which brings the starting rate down to $292.50 if you pay with your Amex card.

So, how does this all compare with its competition/next-door neighbor? Rates at Delano start at $430 a night on the same night, June 14, also for a City View room.
