3 Hotel Gyms In NYC That Will Leave You Feeling Refreshed

Hilton New York

Even though this mega midtown hotel renovated its 8,000 square foot fitness facility back in 2007, new equipment was just brought in two weeks ago. So as you spin, step, pedal or jog on the brand new Precor spinning machines—with the light pouring in from the glass domed ceiling above—you can rest assured your machine doesn't have the sweat build-up of five years' worth of guests.

After your workout, you might want to consider booking a "quench massage" at Spa Merge just down the street at Hilton Club. Margaret Lora, the Spa Manager, devised the treatment to alleviate sore and achy muscles of athletes who frequently over-exert themselves.

The Mark New York

It's a great place to get your shoes shined, and it's a great place to learn boxing. On the second floor of The Mark, trainer Adelino Da Costa has been teaching his own unique fusion of Thai boxing, kickboxing, and martial arts since last November. Simply request an appointment with him at the Concierge desk and in no time you'll be one-two-ing with the pro himself. Classes are open to both men and women.

Sheraton New York

Just like its sister brand, Westin, who just rolled out a new program using blue light therapy, Sheraton is also pretty serious about fitness. At the Sheraton New York's gym, which just got a major facelift in September, guests can roam all over the hotel's giant fitness facility, which includes two rooms of machines, a separate yoga room, a weight room, and, of course, those adorable motivational sayings inscribed on the walls.
