The trailer promises intrigue and lots of eye candy--and we're not just talking about the predictably hot cast. I mean, check out the hotel lobby in the promo photo. Sexy!
Here's a grab from the trailer that shows the setting of the Miramar Playa in more detail--ie: in all its Fontainebleau-inspired glory.

The staircase to nowhere, the terrazzo floor, the MiMo curves of the furniture, the chandelier--it's all there!
Of course, Magic City is not filmed at Fontainebleau--sadly, it's shot on a (non-working hotel) set in Miami, although we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for exteriors shot in South Beach. The Deauville Beach Resort is said to be the stand-in for the Miramar Playa's facade.
We can't tell you how optimistic we are to return to a more glamorous side of Miami hotels via our TV (or iPad) screens after all the reality-TV-garbage we've been force-fed for years now. Bring back the glamour! Bring back the staircase to nowhere!
Join us for more Magic City coverage next week. If you miss the online previews this weekend, make sure to set your DVR for Starz on April 6 and subsequent Fridays at 10 p.m. EST.
