The Best Hotel in the World, According to DVF

You know what the beautiful thing about celebrity Twitter accounts is? Oftentimes, they actually are controlled by the celebrity, and we—the listening public—get to know what they really think. Very occasionally this even includes hints on hotels. Last week, Dita Von Teese shared her favorite Paris address, and this week it's designer Diane von Furstenberg with her favorite hotel...in the world?

She tweets:

We don't know about it being best in the world (and don't tell Claridge's she said that), but the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur, India is truly a unique luxury property. Perhaps you've seen it in glossy travel magazine spreads—its gleaming white architecture reflected off the still lake, upon which it sits like a barge at anchor...except it's a fixed building.

DVF has been busy in India. Besides hotel hopping, she's been partying with Christian Louboutin in Mumbai and enjoying the Gangaur Festival. We're sure she's enjoying the room however, since nights at the Taj Palace start at $550 USD.
