Opening Night at SLS South Beach Costs Just a Little More Now

When we checked in earlier this month on the upcoming SLS South Beach, rooms were opening up on June 14 at $325 a night. My how things have changed. Somewhat..
The good new is that the hotel's reservations system is still saying June 14 for opening. However, prices have gone up a bit to $350 for a Superior City View King. Rooms with an ocean view are going for even more at $410 a night.
Rates get bumped up further for the hotel's first weekend open at $375 a night for a city view and $435 for an ocean view. Granted, that's not that much of an increase but we'll be watching to see how these prices fare as opening date--and the beginning of low season in Miami--nears.
