Crosby Street Hotel Got Taken Over By the Mad MenáPremiere (And No, We Weren't Invited Either)
Believe it or not, the Crosby Street Hotel's screening room once in a while gets used for something other than weekly Sunday night film club gatherings. Like on Monday night, when a glitzier-than-thou crowd showed up for the season premiere of Mad Men, which the rest of us won't get to watch for another four days.
This now brings our itinerary of stops on the unofficial Man Men Worldwide Hotel Tour to a grand total of five! So far, we've counted Roosevelt New York (where Don Draper lives in Season 2), The Belvedere Hotel in Baltimare and the Millenium Biltmore in LA (the show filmed inside both hotels), Soho Hotel (where Jon Hamm got a little racy during a recent newspaper interview), and now, the Crosby Street Hotel.
Jon Hamm, January Jones, and series creator Matthew Weiner mingled with other TV industry peeps and fans of the show at an event hosted by Newsweek. And according to The Daily Beast, things got pretty boozy. Which makes this event fit into the theme of pretty much every other Mad Men hotel package out there.
