Style Star Spotting at the St. Regis Bal Harbour
If a hotel isn't truly open until the fireworks have been set off over the beach and a Hollywood star shows up wearing what can only be described as a caped minidress, then, yes, the St. Regis Bal Harbour is now officially open.
Far away from the Spring Break hordes down on South Beach, the super-luxurious property threw itself a party over the weekend with many finely dressed folks in attendance. Namely, Diane Kruger and fashion designer Jason Wu. Yes, you may know him from Target, but Wu, along with handsome polo player Nacho Figueras, are both St. Regis Connoisseurs. Sounds like a cool gig, no?
Guests were treated to cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by Jean-Georges Vongerichten, whose J&G Grill is the signature restaurant of the hotel, as well as jazz and champagne sabering performances.
Just to make sure more traditional South Beach Spring Break traditions are being upheld, other stars--hello, Joe Jonas--partied down at the Shelborne South Beach last week, at the Victoria's Secret PINK Nation Pool Party.
