For larger groups, there are also separate rooms and a great almost-hidden nook behind the wine-bottle-filled wall of glass at the front of the bar.
No doubt the hotel designers and management were thinking ahead when they designed this place. New Orleans hosted the BCS National Championship Game this year and next year the city welcomes the Super Bowl. Then, of course, there is the fact that the Hyatt Regency is right next door to the Superdome and the bar is always going to be jumpin' with Saints fans and supporters of the visiting teams.
Sadly, we won't be in NOLA this Sunday to enjoy one of these comfy viewing booths and the 42 flatscreens in Vitascope Hall. But if we were, we know exactly what we'd be ordering to wash down all those wings: the Game Face.
Perfect for cocktail lovers and beer fans alike, the Game Face is a pitcher of local beer served with a batched cocktail of New Orleans rum, cinnamon syrup and old-fashioned bitters. Serve it over ice or slam it back as a shot, with your beer as a chaser. It's $35 and serves 4.
Feel free to pour some over your friends as you watch the Giants pour Gatorade over Coach Coughlin!
