HotelTonight Has 'Suite Heart' Hotel Deals for Tonight's Last-Minute Lovers
The window is fast closing on ways to impress your lover today on Valentine's Day but you won't have to settle for downing a love potion at the hotel bar. Thanks to the last-minute hotel booking app, HotelTonight, you can actually stay inside a hotel--in a suite--tonight. And you can do it, without forking over thousands of dollars.
The Suite Heart Sale, which just began a short while ago, is offering frazzled lovers eager to please their sweethearts a luxury suite stay at the same price as a regular room.
For those who haven't downloaded HotelTonight to their phones yet, the app works like this--deals for tonight's hotel rooms show up at noon local time and feature three different hotels ranging from Elegant to Hip to Classic. But now with the Suite Heart Sale, you'll be getting a suite for the same rate as a regular room as well as a complimentary bottle of champagne!
We immediately checked out the options in NYC and nearly collapsed when we saw our fave hotel, The Surrey going for $379 a night. Yes, this is low season in NYC but that's still an amazing deal as a suite at the hotel, according to HotelTonight, would normally cost you $895. And when we checked the Surrey's website, a "salon" aka regular room, was available tonight for $445. HotelTonight for the romantical win!
Not keen on staying in uptown NYC? Downtown, we found the perennial Soho fave, 60 Thompson, for $399 a night. Again this is for a suite typically worth over a $1,000. And way further south in Miami Beach, the Dream South Beach was going for just $219 a night.
More cities will open up on HotelTonight as the clock strikes noon (we'll update this space here with a few more examples) but if you're racing to figure out what to do tonight, HotelTonight is the way to go.
