Plenty of Indian imagery can be found throughout the suite (the term 'kama sutra,' of course, refers to an ancient Hindu text dedicated almost entirely to the art of lovemaking), though luckily, the effect isn't overdone, and manages to balance bright Indian colors and figures with that unique, earthy New Mexican flair.
Another bonus is the giant soaking tub found in the bathroom, surrounded by simple beige tiles and a pair of non-transparent windows. Non-transparent...for obvious reasons. After all, how are newlyweds supposed to get their kama sutra on with unwanted neighbors peering though from across the courtyard all the time?
The suite, which is often booked up to a year in advance, also gets plenty of use by brides, who, along with their bridesmaids, like to prepare for the ceremony in the comfort of the elegant, high-ceilinged rooms. Though the real action, we can all agree, is confined to the cushion-y, golden expanse of that gorgeous bed. Talk about setting the mood!
Rates for the Kama Sutra suite start at $259/night.
