The hotel refers to the interactive coffee tables as "digital concierges," and they can be found throughout the lobby and the Toro Toro bar (which is where we photographed the one above). The range of apps are similar to Microsoft's Surface or an iPad, the only difference being you can't take it with you when you leave the hotel.
We've certainly seen features like this before in other hotels, like Hyatt House, Courtyard by Marriott, and the check-in screens at Yotel. But we wanna see more!
Plus, anyone who's walked around inside the InterCon Miami's lobby knows what a gorgeous, fun, happening place it is. It's the kind of lobby where you want to spend an hour or two sitting at a coffee table, people watching and sipping an iced cappuccino. Might as well get some itinerary-planning done while you're at it!
Rates at the hotel start at $179/night.
