Geoffrey Zakarian's Tudor House had a great concept -- gastro-pub comfort food -- but it was the kind of food that belonged in New York, not South Beach. The Serafina menu is the first Italian restaurant we've sampled in Miami that is light enough while still being tasty. Authentically Italian without relying on heavy sauces, fill-you-up meatballs or creamalicious pasta dishes.
It's also a good fit with the Dream South Beach brand -- the cool kids who flock to High Bar and crash in these Arabian-fantasy style rooms are style and body conscious. They want to keep things light.

Serafina, we applaud you for bringing common sense -- and delicious pizza -- to the beach. Hotel restaurants up and down Collins Avenue could learn a lot from you.
