The best change has been the addition of a window seat. We were fortunate enough to have a stunning view of the Sydney Harbour with a prime view of the Opera House. That view is worth the 14-hour flight from the US. The renovation took Australia's icon into consideration and included a padded seat to soak in the city views.
Forget rooms that have no storage, this room has heaps of hiding spots to stow your stuff. There's a luggage rack with a drawer for tucking your suitcase and a huge closet that can fit a good three weeks worth of clothes. This is all in addition to the normal chest of drawers and desk space.
Seems this reno has thought about everything and kept both road warriors and leisure travelers in mind. Even we forget our charging devices when traveling internationally. The hotel has thought about this too, by including built in converter plugs to ensure all your tech devices will remain fully charged. Even the furniture has a tech twist with the TV cabinet sporting its own self-contained media center. Plug in your iPhone or a USB and you can view documents or media on the big screen.Forgot the cord? No matter, send it via Bluetooth! That's pretty awesome. And yes, thank you, for the free WiFi throughout the entire property.
Room rates start at $355 AUD ($370) per night.
