JLo's people say a staff member 'barged' into her room unannounced. We aren't picking sides here, as we have stayed in enough hotels to know this could go either way. We've been the victim of the unexpected housekeeper who burst in our rooms while we were in our skivvies, but have also had them knock twice politely and announce themselves with sweet little voices.
We are happy to report that no housekeeping staff were harmed in this story. The hotel has confirmed that the maid was just "transferred" to another property by the external cleaning staff hired by the Meliá. At least she still has a job and that's why this whole story seems a little fake to us.
Not that we have ever met JLo, but she seems to have mellowed from that diva-like rep she earned years ago. Now she seems to have morphed into a gal who doesn't mind signing things, seeing as she's done it enough times on divorce papers. So, we might just need to "Hold it, Don't Drop It" and wait to see the outcome on this one.
