We've Fallen in Love With These Autumn-Themed Cocktails

If you can resist this pumpkin-pie loaded shake--there's something wrong with you. Period.

Yes, some parts of the country have experienced their first bouts of snowfall, it’s still considered autumn per the calendar, and many hotel restaurant bars have a host of seasonal drinks created just for this time of year.

And damn, with all that's happened in the last few weeks (natural disasters, elections, secrets, lies, and...Donald Trump causing a stir) don’t you feel like--well, you could USE a drink? And a good, creative one at that?

We want to pay homage to the mixologists, or whatever the like to call themselves these days that have put in work to present some serious dranks (yep, we said it right, fact checkers) for the fall season. Thanksgiving is next week (AY!), today starts the unofficial weekend...let's toast it up !

Holsteins Shakes and Buns at the Cosmpolitan Las Vegas: This throwback restaurant gets major props for its Pumpkin Pie Bamboozled Shake, an alcohol-infused treat made with Sapling liquor, pumpkin pie filling, graham crumble, cinnamon syrup and pepita brittle. You can handle the Thanksgiving trip sipping a few of these.

Apple Cider should always be served in a martini glass. End of. Conrad New York: We're glad the Battery Park City is up and running again, and say cheers at the ATRIO Wine Bar, which is serving Caramel Apple Cider made with Crown Royal, apple cider, and Monin caramel syrup as well as a Cinnamon Apple Sangria--a juicy mix of Remy Martin, red wine, cider, pineapple and cranberry juice, cinnamon and Sprite. Then they get absolutely decadent with the Gingerbread Martini with Absolut vanilla vodka and Godiva dark chocolate liqueur.

Ritz-Carlton, Montreal: Bourbon fans will fall for the Comme a la Maison made with Maker’s Mark, lemon juice, local maple syrup, and topped with whipped cream.

The Lodge at Tiburon Tavern: This upscale hotel near Sausalito is offering a classic drink with a seasonal twist--the Pumpkin Patch Martini. It's prepared with house-made pumpkin infused vodka, almond milk, and a splash of amaretto, then finished with a maple sugar rim.

Four Seasons Boston: The hotel's Bristol Lounge has a whole fall drinks and bar bites menu to take the chill off a blustery day. We’re partial to the Baldwin Manhattan made with Crown Royal, apple cider and cinnamon, bitters. Next in line is the Agave & Pear Partini, a peculiar, but interesting blend of Herradura blanco tequila, creme de poire, lemon and white pepper syrup.

The Modern Honolulu: Morimoto Waikiki offers an exotic take on sake with the Morimoto ‘1972’ Aged Sake which consists of spiced pumpkin and citrus-oil aromas, and finished with tropical fruit scents.

Tanque Verde Ranch, Tucson, AZ: While tucked away in the desert mountains, guests can sip a Fig Sidecar, a special combo of Fig infused cognac, house-made brown syrup, Cointreau, and fresh lemon juice. The sugar rim and lemon twist puts the k in klassy.

Fifteen Beacon, Boston: The hotel's signature restaurant, Moo just introduced The Vermont Maple, complete with Larde's apple jack, Vermont maple syrup, apple cider and lemon juice, shaken and strained into a martini glass.
