Eva Longoria Lazes With Gal Pals at Puerto Vallarta Resort

Eva Longoria has already set off the pre-winter season right with mini-getaway with a few pals at the Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa in Puerto Vallarta.

The group of gals spent five days lounging by the pool, playing in the sand and ocean waves, and generally and literally letting their hair down. After enjoying brunch on the beach the girls participated in a private tasting of several varieties of Wahaka Mezcal, served to them by the co-founder of the company.

Longoria sent out these Tweets when she returned from the resort:

"Didn�t want to leave tropical paradise of @garzablancapvr! Could have sat by the infinity pool overlooking the ocean 4ever. Pure bliss!"

So where did the ex-Desperate House and Original Basketball Wife call home while at the resort?

The group stayed in the 5,000 square foot penthouse suite which has a private balcony overlooking the Pacific Ocean and views of the surrounding Sierra Madres.

Though the tiny actress doesn't look like she ever touches a morsel of food, it is hard to imagine she resisted the culinary stylings of resort chef, Kori Sutton, who we're sure dazzled with shrimp tostadas, fish ceviche prepared blackened "txin xic" style, and red-beet carpaccio.

Rates start at reasonable $167 for low season, and even the penthouse goes for an astonishingly cool $753 per night. Prices raise just slightly ($204) mid-February, which is pretty impressive!
