Andaz Maui Says “Aloha” to Morimoto

We’re stoked to hear today's news--the upcoming Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort & Spa is pairing with celebrity-chef Masaharu Morimoto to create Morimoto Maui in time for the hotel's opening next summer.

The Iron Chef star will take advantage of the island’s direct access to fresh produce and pay homage to Hawaii by incorporating local ingredients to his traditional Japanese menu.

Morimoto Maui will have a 57-seat interior dining area with teak wood seating and black-stone floor tiles, a 56-seat outdoor terrace, and a 23-seat terrace bar (for Mai tai’s and sunset viewing, of course!). Plus, there will be an eight-seat sushi and sashimi bar serving up Maui’s incredible array of fresh fish.

Every spot inside the restaurant will have a view of the beach and ocean, so there shouldn’t be a bad table in the house.
