Desperate to delight in the details? The official press release notes that "at a combined 4,574 square-feet, each of the five Presidential Suites is adorned in rich red or Le Meurice's signature green" and there are "Versailles parquet floors laid with wool and silk rugs from Galerie Saint-Simon, the suites feature white marble fireplaces and period furniture, including conserved and restored pieces from Louis XVI cabinets to newly re-gilded cabriolet chairs. Crystal chandeliers hang from the ceilings, while walls are hung with 19th century paintings."
All of this opulence demands a top rate, however; the "Classic Room" (aka the lowest category of rooms) begin at €580 (approximately $757 USD) per night, while all of these presidential suites are, naturally, "price upon request."
