The inaugural September 2012 journey took off just this past weekend, starting at Four Seasons Beverly Hills. We stayed here for the first time recently and can tell you that this place - perhaps not surprisingly - takes service very seriously, something the private-jet traveling kind will appreciate. Following the welcome dinner (perhaps involving a Larry Flynt salad at Culina?) and some lounging at the pool (we wish we were still there), it was off to Kona, Hawaii and the Four Seasons Hualalai.
Right about now, guests are relaxing at Four Seasons Bora Bora, to be followed by Sydney, Bali, Chiang Mai, India, Egypt, and finally, London. The same itinerary runs from October 29, and earlier this week four seats showed as having become available (do tell us if you decided to snap them up).

Next year's itinerary is now open for booking and will hit the following destinations: Seattle, Tokyo, Hanghzou, Shanghai, the Maldives (at Kuda Huraa), Istanbul, St. Petersburg, Marrakech, and New York. The trip includes two of Four Seasons' newest hotels: Shanghai, Pudong and Lion Palace in St. Petersburg.
Flipping through the brochure gets us a serious case of wanderlust, so if you're looking for a travel partner (and you know, are willing to cover that minor detail of the price tag), we're totally in.
The per-person price is based on double occupancy and includes all air and ground travel (except for arrangements to get to and from the trip's start- and end-point), accommodations, all excursions and all meals, both on and off property. In case you feel taking this kind of trip would be a little too self-indulgent, you are automatically supporting charitable efforts of Four Seasons and organizing partner TCS & Starquest Expeditions in each of the destinations visited, like providing supplies for medical centers or schools and donating funds for essential community programs.
However, if you can't manage to scrape up the cash, you can always follow the lucky guests' adventures on Twitter via #FSJet.
