Soho House Chicago. Love it. We just hope it's a private club with hotel rooms attached because that means we can not only expect a delicious restaurant a la Cecconi's and a swish bar but also individualized guest rooms with carefully selected furnishings and art and loads of Cowshed toiletries. But given that this is Chicago, we'll forgive Soho House if they want to do without the rooftop pool.
As for where the Soho House Chicago will be located, we're aren't quite sure. We found a report from 2008 that said the old Three Arts Club building at 1300 N. Dearborn would be developed into the Soho House. Those plans included a 48-room hotel and even a rooftop pool.
But that was nearly four years ago, so perhaps Soho House is scouting for a new location. Got any good house gossip? Do let us know.
