Now that we've got this monster list off our backs, it's time to start breaking down some notable openings one-by-one. Today we're starting with the Tryp by Wyndham Times Square South which will finally open on February 1st.
We found a non-refundable rate of just $161.10 on opening night for a deluxe king bed. Regular rates for that same room category are only a bit more at $179 a night. If you want to try and squeeze in some of your friends, a guestroom with two queen beds, a sleeper sofa, a refrigerator, microwave and wet bar was going for $269 a night.
And for families visiting Times Square, the room to book at Tryp will be the The Family Room which comes with two queen beds, bunk beds, a sleeper sofa, a Nintendo Wii, refrigerator, wet bar, microwave and two large HDTVs. Also of note, all rooms have free WiFi.
Aside from the room rates, we're also digging the room vibe. It's actually kind of tropical looking, no? Maybe that's Tryp's Spanish heritage coming through.
