For example, the 369 rooms, including 21 suites, will be outfitted all with the latest tech goodies we love like flat-screen TVs, iPod touches, paperless check-ins and check-outs and free WiFi (Although, don't get your hopes too high as the internet in mainland China is a little more "regulated" than Hong Kong's.) Fingers crossed they keep a jar of candy on the nightstands too.
Also, according the hotel's website, up on the second floor will be a "business-centric zone" where guests can get their work done in nifty sounding pods that "combine fun and function." Our two favorite things!
Lastly, there will be two restaurants and a bar, including the all-day FEAST dining concept (Food by East) and a rooftop event space. And just like East Hong Kong is attached to the Cityplaza Shopping Center, the East Beijing will be attached to INDIGO, a mixed use center from parent company, Swires Properties Limited, which will include offices, a mall and a massive outdoor park.
Given that East Beijing is expected to open this summer, we bet guests will put that park to good use.
