Bulgari's chief executive, Francesco Trapani, has said the hotel will feature a mix of marbles, woods and precious materials along with Italian furniture and custom-made textiles. Silver will also be a major theme running throughout the hotel as an homage to Bulgari's silversmith origins. And of course, you know that there will be Bulgari toiletries in the bath!
The hotel will also have seven Bulgari ultra-suites, a restaurant and bar, a ballroom, a private cinema, and of course a Bulgari spa, fitness center and pool. This will mark the third Bulgari hotel to open (the first two are in Milan and Bali).
So what will it cost to stay here? As we presumed back in June, will be steeeeeeeep. Business Traveller reports that Trapani has said the hotel rates will be on par with three or four of the most expensive hotels in London. We would expect to see nothing available for less than $700USD a night. Sigh.
