During filming, which starts next week, pre-selected restaurant and hotel guests will enjoy discounted rates on rooms, though all meals will go for the normal price.
Restaurant owner Ken Pisciotta took over the hotel less than a year ago, but realized it needed new life injected into it. He told the NJ Herald:
"The restaurant has been great, but the hotel has been slow"
As for Ramsay's notoriously, um...'hands-on' method of consulting, Pisciotta apparently has no qualms:
"I can't wait. It is a chance of a lifetime.
I've been talking with the producers, and they just supply Gordon with the information and he runs the show. I don't have any expectations. I'm just here for him, and I'm happy to go along with it."
We'd go for Ramsay, too. Plus the chance to see those four-post beds and god-awful wallpaper obliterated from existence. Can't wait to see the finished product!
We'll be following this show as it continues to tape new episodes around the country. If you've got a tip on a new Hotel Hell hotel being featured, do let us know!
