Gene Simmons is Getting Married at the Same Place He Held a Global Web Chat

If this is the summer's second biggest celebrity wedding, then it's at least the first to take place at a well-known hotel. On October 1, The Beverly Hills Hotel will host the wedding of KISS front Gene Simmons and his girlfriend of 28 years, Shannon Tweed.

Evidently, Simmons has been itching to host another event at the hotel, and decided to step things up since the last time he was there. Apparently, weddings are more involved than global web chats. Like, for example, they require fancy letter invitations—and Gene Simmons' wedding invitations (scripted by his children) don't disappoint. Click below to read what they say!

Unlike more reverent couples that have stopped by in the past, the Tweed-Simmons bunch like to keep things playful. Thanks to TMZ, here's a portion of the wedding invites sent out to guests:

"After 28 years of two loose strings, our parents have finally decided to tie the knot. Our mother will share our horrendous hyphenate of a last name, and our father's life...wel it doesn't change that much.

But we will be united as a family in tite and spirit forever. THere will no longer by a Team Tweed or a Team Simmons, but instead a Team Tweed-Simmons, and as annoyingly long as that is, we hope you're on it."
