No word on what happens next, but if we were gambling people, we’d have a punt that Askill, Lawrence and Fleet Ilya will be doing more stuff with the hotel. Gimp masks in the minibar, anyone?

Marios Schwab and W's Global Fashion Director Jenne Lombardo
Another week, another super duper cultural offering from the W London. Or, technically, W Hotels Worldwide.
This time, the project’s called Fashion Next and is part of a global initiative taking place in London, New York and Moscow. The aim: to decide the hot new fashion thing in each city. In Moscow, Vika Gazinskaya’s been named Fashion Insider (ie the person who tells us what’s what). In London, it’s designer Marios Schwab, who’s fingered three local designers: jeweller Jordan Askill, knitwear designer Craig Lawrence and Fleet Ilya, who have a whole collection of bondage gear on the side.
They launched it last week with a party attended by so many trendy people it hurts, but including Kelis, Erin O’Connor and Matthew Williamson, as well as Marios Schwab and Katy England (Schwab’s stylist).
The genesis of the whole shebang is explained in the rather beautiful video here, shot in the W by the (W)riters Library:
