Yesterday, we showed you a Brussels hotel room channeling New York through some questionable turquoise carpeting. Today, here's a hotel actually located in New York that's paying homage to its Tin Pan Alley roots through a new weekly live music program. Can you guess which one we have higher hopes for?

The series, which runs Wednesday through Sunday every week, blends DJs with live jazz, is supposed to be a "modern interpretation of music from nearby Tin Pan Alley, infused with jazz and French Cabaret." And the whole thing starts today!

Peter Chase, co-owner at Millesime, inside The Carlton on Madison Avenue, is putting together the lineup for the new series, which launches tonight at 6pm. All of the performances run in the evenings, except for the Sunday "Burlesque Jazz Brunch."

Live performers will entertain crowds from a raised stage in the middle of The Carlton's chic, bi-level lounge area, Salon Millesime. Sometimes, DJs will be up there too, other times, they'll get their own booth at the adjacent Bar Millie.

For the full schedule of performers, check out the restaurant's website. And if you can, try to coordinate your visit with Lil Kim—we know she's a fan of the place too.
