What's Black And White And Wet All Over?
We like to keep tabs on all aspects of a hotel—from lobby bars to room service to the view outside your window—and we certainly don't skimp on bathrooms. Every Tuesday, we will offer you snapshots into various hotel bathrooms, both public and private. If you see something you like, or have a photo to add of your own, just shoot us an email, or respond in the comments below!
This roomy all-black tiled shower stall (complete with standalone white bench) is found at none other than Andaz Wall Street. Fiscal crises aside, this downtown hotel continues to carry the beacon of sophistication. Everywhere you go—from the lobby to Bar 75 to this here bathroom—the space exudes a cool, undisturbed calm that we find quite irresistible.
Located in a Large King room on the eleventh floor, the bathroom also offers a separate bathtub with a peekaboo window looking onto the bed. Because that's what luxury and relaxation are all about. Views from the bathtub.
If you remember, we toured this hotel back when it opened in January 2010, and found ourselves slightly infatuated by trademark spinning cube closets. Which kept us plenty amused again today. Oh, those hotel toys—just giving guests more to play around with!
