The Edition Waikiki, Er, Modern Honolulu Now Has a New Website

Yesterday, after we digested the shocking news about the Edition Waikiki, a savvy commenter pointed out that the Edition Waikiki The Modern Honolulu did have a website up and running although another commented mentioned that reservations were not working yet. But lo and behold, they are working today!

We found a city view room available on September 20th for just $299 a night which is about $80 less than what the Edition had been charging earlier this summer. An ocean view one-bedroom suite was going for $799 if you wanted to splash out.

The website for the Modern is a little more user-friendly than the Edition's website although it's not as sophisticated and the hotel already has a Twitter feed except it hasn't Tweeted yet. Speaking of Twitter, Edition has not yet mentioned the Waikiki kerfuffle either on Twitter or Facebook.

Meanwhile parent company, Marriott Hotels, still plans on pursuing action against this "illegal event." Whatever the outcome, can they keep the room rates at $299?

Luxurygroup.com already updated the new name

Regarding The Waikiki Edition and its re-branding due to pending lawsuit, I checked on Luxury Group's website and they have already updated the name of the hotel and the website seems to go to the website of the new property as well.

New Amendments

The Modern Honolulu added some new resort features and extended the guest rooms from 300 to 353.Pool sights have been categories for sunset an sunrise.I am really good to see their special Paradise offers. <a href="http://cuttingedgeprojects.co.uk/seo/">seo</a>
