Great news, hotel geeks! The Conrad New York has a website! Well, kinda. We skipped on over to the home page for the upcoming hotel (the first Conrad Hotel from Hilton Hotels in the city) and saw some new descriptions to the property but no photos. (Or no XML, rather.) Still, what we read got us excited.

Complimentary full cooked-to-order breakfast provided to each guest daily. Complimentary Nightly Manager's reception featuring your favorite snacks, beverages and cocktails.

Hear that? Breakfast in the morning and cocktails in the eve'n! Woot! Not to mention there's already a Shake Shack on site.

Now you might be thinking that all these freebies sound like Conrad will be some sort of budget affair. But actually this place is entirely comprised of two-room suites starting at a seriously spacious 550-sq.ft. with views of Battery Park.

The hotel is still scheduled to open in late 2011 and we've got no price point yet but we're hoping that it will start out somewhat reasonable so we can get a taste for the breakfast, er the place.

Embassy Suites Redux

So basically it's a fancy version of the Embassy Suites it once was?  Do any other Conrads do that?

True, it's the old embassy suites but hopefully things are a little more luxe in the rooms than ES.
