The Trump Soho's Minibar is Sealed with a $25 Kiss
We actually love spotting makeup in hotel minibars like the cosmetics kit we once saw at The Cooper Square Hotel. After all, we're more likely to use lipstick and mascara than condoms and sensual oils. (Sad but true.)
Yet before we pluck this La Bella Donna Lip Sheer off the minibar tray at the Trump Soho in Manhattan, we should be mindful that it costs $25. While it's not the priciest thing on the tray (that distinction goes to the bottle of Grey Goose for $95), it's definitely more than we'd pay for a lip sheer. (Shout out to Carmex!)
But interestingly enough it's actually slightly less than what La Bella Donna advertises on its own site--$26.50. And if you've got to be somewhere in a Manhattan minute and that cherry Chapstick from the airport won't do, at least you've got a quality piece of makeup to show for your $25. Not only is the lip sheer hydrating and formulated with anti-oxidants and organic ingredients, it's a little more chic-looking than a yellow tube of Carmex.
Still can't bear to fork over $25 for a lip sheer? It's ok, there's a $6 lip balm in the tray too.
